As far as I concerned, most of golfers prefer to choose discount Callaway Diablo Edge Series, because they are cost-effective. They include driver, fairway wood and irons. Moreover, this combo set is fantastic and forgiving. The best point is how you strike the ball and there were no complaints.

The Diablo Edge Drivers are designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time you tee it up, which offer superior face technology, a higher MOI, a deeper CG, and better aerodynamics — and it all adds up to the longest, most accurate all-titanium drivers Callaway Golf has ever made. The 4-piece Fused Titanium design creates the most weight efficient titanium driver Callaway has ever made, generating long, penetrating trajectories.

The new Diablo Edge Fairway Woods are the longest, straightest steel fairway woods we’ve ever made, with distance gains of 10-12 yards over Big Bertha Diablo. That’s not just better, that’s a game changer. It feature the deepest center of gravity (CG) of any fairway wood Callaway has ever made for high, distance-enhancing trajectory.

The Callaway Diablo Edge irons are considered super game improvement irons. This allows the sweet spot to be more accessible at lower impact locations. The end result of this is longer, more consistent shots and improved accuracy. Most amateurs hit the ball on the lower portion of the clubface so the lower center of gravity is perfect.

Just like a lot of other discount golf clubs designed for the mid level golfers, the Callaway Diablo Edge irons on the strong side when it comes to loft. Their lofts are about two degrees lower resulting in longer shots. This is important to know because "clubbing" off your partner isn’t what it use to be in the old days. Your 6 iron might have a different loft than his 6 iron.

By the way, a day after blowing a seven-stroke advantage to go into the final round at Forth Worth trailing Charlie Wi by one, Toms made an eagle with a wedge shot from 83 yards at the par-5 11th hole Sunday to take the lead for good. Toms went on to his first PGA Tour victory since January 2006.

Toms, 44, closed with a three-under 67 at Hogan’s Alley to finish at 15 under, one better than Wi. Toms’s 13th title came a week after a playoff loss to K. J. Choi at the Players Championship, his sixth runner-up finish since his previous victory.

After that playoff loss at T.P.C. Sawgrass in Florida, Toms began at the Colonial with a 62, his best score in 429 rounds since a career-best 61 during his last victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Toms followed with another bogey-free 62 to match the PGA Tour scoring record for the first 36 holes of a tournament (124), and he opened the third round with a birdie.

At 17 under through 37 holes, Toms scored three bogeys in the next five holes. Wi took the lead with a 32-foot birdie at the par-3 16th.

Wi extended his lead to three strokes after consecutive birdies to open Sunday’s round. Toms finally caught up at 13 under after Wi missed the green with his approach at the par-4 10th and two-putted for bogey.
