This new wrap style grip utilizes a soft rubber compound for enhanced feel, similar to the 703 grip. Fine satin finish gives the Rapture Iron a deep, rich look while providing exceptional durability. The "polished" back weight and graphics badge add to the appeal of the club.

The flat top hosel is designed to reduce stress and improve feel, while the hosel notch controls the bend point for precise loft and lie adjustments. The wide sole has positioned the CG further back to promote a high trajectory and lower spin for high soft shots into the green that don't balloon in the wind. This sole design also provides easy transition through the turf for solid ball contact.

Cavity is parallel to the ground allowing more mass to be moved away from the club face, creating a wide sole and high moment of inertia for maximum forgiveness on off-center shots. Utilizing different materials maximizes the perimeter weighting, which substantially increases the moment of inertia for maximum forgiveness on off-center shots, while generating a very high, straight trajectory.

However, the Ping 17-4 stainless steel Ping G10 iron set for added forgiveness and consistency. The large, perimeter-weighted head features a new cavity shape and wider sole.

The center of gravity is positioned away from the face and low in the club head to promote higher launching, lower spinning shots. By creating a new shape for the Custom Tuning Port (CTP), Ping engineers stabilized the hitting area to produce consistent ball velocity across the entire club face. An elastomer CTP insert helps control vibration for a solid feel.

However, Bridgestone is keen to stress that Love still has much to offer, alongside Matt Kuchar, Brendt Snedeker and Freddie Couples, introducing him riding his favourite motorbike and promoting their Tour B330S ball.

"I have been playing golf a long time," Love stated, "yet, even after all these years, I found the Bridgestone ball-fitting process to be tremendously revealing for me and I picked up more distance off the tee just by switching to it."

I'm really excited to be part of a brand that has the momentum of Bridgestone and I look forward to showing the world a bit more of my personality in the 2011 ads.
